Wouldn't surprise me if Bennett told the Cavs that if they going to send him to D-League he will stop playing. He looks like a guy that doesn't care to play if he isn't a starter. Cavs trying to hit the jackpot and have Bennett actually play a decent game so they can trade him for something(anything)

Can't believe they still haven't sent him to the D-League. I think he still has potential to be a good player and he could be a late bloomer like TC, but I don't think he should be getting NBA minutes until he's in better shape. Let him play in the D-League and work on his cardio and his shot.

What would the scouts have to do with that. I don't think that's how he set picks in college. He's probably dejected from playing the worst stretch of basketball of his life. That's on him and on the coaches in terms of player development.

He needs more minutes that's for sure. Whether that's in the D-league or NBA I couldn't care less at this point. But 3mins in the first quarter then getting yanked for a mistake isn't going to ever help him or the Cavs.
