    well considering
Durant just got 40 with only 9 made fg/24

If Durant had another game but made 18-20/24 with his 22/24

That's at least another 18 pts
    18-22 smallest
    add 3-4 threes

    Thats 22-27 pts

67 points right there and if he played longer maybe 45 min and shot at least 30
and made 24 fga at least

    Thats 75-80 points right there

    Melo CAN NOT DO IT
Hed have to be literally on fire and barely miss to do it and have to make at least 10 3s,and considering he'll never get 20+fta like Durant does on the regular and JR Smith isnt passing and will try to get his,not happening

    Durant could get it
    say he makes 10 3s
    20 fts
    50 pts right there
another 25 made fga and he got it
    35/45,20-24 in 45-48 min

Itll have to go absolutely right for him to get close
Kobe with 81 jacked up over 45 +shots
made a lot of 3s and played a lot of min and took more shots than rest of team

SO IF Durant goes hot and gets his usual insane fta
    12 3s made+36 pts
    20 ft+20 pts
Only needs another 22 fga made

    so he goes 34/40-45 fga
    100 pts

but literally everything has to go right
he has to be on fire, playing a lot of min,Not Seriously Blowing the Team Out,WANT THE RECORD and keep shooting,Play against a Bad Defensive Team, and he has to take at Least,MINIMUM 40 FGA

Though he did get 40 with only 9 fgm
    if he made another 10
    19/24
    Thats 60-65 pts

    so possible

only other person who could come close is Curry if he somehow makes 15-20 3s,gets 8-15 fta,and makes another 15 fga
either way in order to get 100,40 fga at Minimum and with at least 10-15 fta
    45-60 off of 3s,plus 8-15 pts
    thats 53-75 so another
    13-24 more fgm
    40+ fga needed

You're saying Melo can't do it because of JR Smith wanting his?

What about Westbrook wanting his? Or if we are saying his still injured,
then we have to way up player mentalities as well,
    many shots to begin with.

As for Curry, his a point guard, his not selfish, however between him & Durant, I believe he would be the more likely of the 2 to make 100 pts.

And we know Melo is selfish, he would take that many shots, and if he did catch major fire, he would keep gunning.

No one can even get Kobe @ 81 , 100 is the one of the most unbreakable records in sports, unless a rule change gives the teams a crazy amount of more possessions.

Durant and he could do it on 12 FGAs.

Durant is an amazingly consistent scorer but he doesn't explode in games like say a Kobe/Melo/Cavs Lebron used to.

Within the normal flow of a game it will never happen.

That Wilt 100 point game was contrived in that his teammates fouled the team to get the ball back quicker. And hence give more possessions back to wilt's team...

I don't see it happening though.
Even with that 36 pts in a quarter once, he's far too slow to get anywhere close to a hundred.
He doesn't have the stamina to score a basket a minute for 48 minutes and on his best day he never did.

I know it wouldn't be LeBron. He hits 50, and then passes the ball every time down the floor. My guess would be Melo. He's possibly the most complete scorer in the league, and when that boy gets hot he'll keep on chucking.

I've never been more excited as when LeBron went ham against the Bucks as a Cav, but i'd say Melo would have the best shot at it.
