Why would Lebron leave the Heat after this contract expires? Serious question.

The money is fine. He seems to enjoy playing in Miami. Hes been to the finals every year hes been in Miami. He seems to get along well with his current teammates, and went out of the way to get here and play with them.

Why do people think he will leave. Its not in any way similar to the situation the first time.

I admit there are many variables and hypotheticals, but the article itself makes a pretty reasonable argument. Yes, he may not leave Miami, but it could happen. Suppose that Wade starts showing his age. Suppose Miami loses to the other good teams in the Eastern Playoffs. It could happen, as Miami almost lost last year to Indiana.

Could Lebron reconsider after that? Yes he could.

Plus, lebron likes history and we all know that Sixer's history is replete with tradition and lore as the article argues. Far more than Miami or Cleveland.
