[QUOTE=Frozen1]Yeah, in this competition euroteams will not find a USA squad led by a 21 year old Durant, Lamar Odom and Billups to beat them.

I wonder why only in this game a team got close to beat them. Tip: it wasn

All the players listed are actually part of the USA select program. Not sure if Monroe is on the select team... but if he is, I agree.

Everyone basketball player's dream is to play in the NBA...and that includes players currently in the euroleague or whatever other international league is out there.

As long as that is true, the NBA reigns supreme.

Is that so hard to comprehend?

    Fukk.

Hmm more kids in Lithuania would answer that their dream is to play for Zalgiris. Probably like way more.

Same here, almost all kids would say Partizan or Red Star.

False. That's not true and never has been true.

    You just imagined that.

Tony Parker recently said he considered them exhibition games. That they were 'for fun'.

    Top-level tournament? Maybe in Europe.

    Top level zone tournament.

Not as high as a global tournament like Olympics or World Cup.

This French team that just won gold is basically the same exact team except Ajinca that placed 6th last year in the Olympics.

    No Team USA
No Spain with Pau or Ibaka
    No Russia with AK47
No Argentina with Ginobli, Scola, Prigioni and Delfino
No Brazil with Barbosa, Nene and Varejao

And the Lithuanian team that won silver was basically the same team that finished 8th in the Olympics except the Lavinovic brothers.

Put the All NC2A team in EuroBasket, and, at the absolute worst (I'm talking end of the world situation), they get bronze.
You don't have a clue, do you.

The NCAA champion would lose ALL games by an average of 30-50 points, depending on the adversary.

We're talking national teams and grown men.

The US has some 300 million inhabitants, right?

Lithuania has 2. Serbia has 7. Croatia has 4. Greece has 11.

The only teams that could snatch a win are competitive NBA teams such as the Heat, Thunder, Clippers, Bulls... But they would by no means be guaranteed finalists.

But, again, you don't have a clue about international basketball and I have been watching both international ball and the NBA for 30 years.

Ask any scout knowledgeable about international ball and he will tell you the best NCAA teams would get DESTROYED in a competition such as the European Championship.

I believe that Spain, probably the best team in the tournament, would beat the actual NCAA champs by 50 points at least, if trying.

That's another planet compared to college ball, you just don't have a clue.

They would get beaten by 30 in average and the European teams would probably stop trying after 3 quarters.

Kids vs. grown men, no comparison.

That's our C-Team, and I'll take them over France or Lithuania without a second thought.
No ****ing way this team can beat them, not in an European-rules setting.
