And as for Brandon Jennings, Coach Nick's criticisms are pretty much all correct, as always. Coach Nick is usually only wrong in emphasis. For example, he's right that Russell Westbrook lacks a lot of really important point guard / game management skills. But he's wrong to not say, "but he's still definitely a top 8 player in the game, and OKC's offense is awesome the way it's designed, with Durant being the patient game management one and Westbrook being the pusher. It totally works."
Same with Jennings. He is awful in many ways. And it's true that he'd turn the ball over more if he passed more. And no, they're not bailout shots. He just has poor shot selection. But Jennings also has virtues as a player that Coach Nick ignores as he picks the guy apart for not being Chris Paul.
If Jennings went to the Lakers I have little doubt he'd do very well there. And if you just give him the ball and say "do whatever you want, we're not a serious sports franchise anyway," he's going to suck, as anyone would.

I just read the link and the combox and I still have no idea why coach Nick was fired. "He was a racist." Okay? Evidence? If I'm the coach, and I tell you to pass 3 times before you shoot, and you shoot anyway, I'm yelling you and sitting you on the bench. Even if you're black. Is that what happened? Or was he actually a racist? Did he actually say things like, "You suck so much, because you're black. F*ck you."

Meh some points were right, but Jennings as a player has upsides too, none of them were mentioned ofcourse. That self entitled coach get's too much attention he's aware only of the basics anyways. He can put stats into a video amazing!

Stay with the Bucks for 1 season, enter next year's FA, then become the best UFA PG on the market.

I have been saying for years that Jennings is a vet min player off of the bench. He should be thankful that he has a 1 year 4.5 million offer and plays big mins because he is no better than any other typical vet min bench scrub.
