As far as skill and variety of moves, it's McHale or Hakeem, unless you're counting guards like Jordan and Kobe.

But as far as overall effectiveness? I have to go with Shaq or Kareem. So I'd call those 2 the best, and Hakeem or McHale the most skilled.

Even Shaq said he had like 2-3 moves and admitted that Patrick Ewing,David Robinson,Tim Duncan, and even Rik Smits had more moves than him in the post.

Definitely not David Robinson. He really wasn't much of a low post scorer. More of a face up big man who ran the floor and finished as well as any 7 footer you'll see. He'd go to a turnaround jumper in the low post once in a while, and occasionally, a really awkward looking hook, but he wasn't a guy you think of when it comes to post moves. Even Ewing, who I'm a huge fan of and who was more of a low post scorer(at least when young) primarily would go to the baseline fadeaway, or his famous three step move. I saw far less jump hooks, spin moves and up and unders from Ewing than Shaq actually.

Hakeem may have been the best in terms of skills, but when it comes to post play it is just as important to be physically dominant, and in that regard Wilt, Shaq and Kareem were all better than him.
