You just now did it again with Paul George. Who says I'm using different criteria? Who says I don't think Paul George is a better player than Melo, this year or in general?
To make things EXTRA simple for you, I DO think Paul George was a better player than Carmelo this year AND I think Paul George IS a better player in general.
How in any context is Paul George a better player than Melo this year? Paul George isnt arguably the best player on his team.

Do you have any doubt that Chris Bosh could do it? Bosh could chuck his way to 28 on 44% if his coach and his team mates would allow it. But they wouldn't allow it.
Well, I don't know about Bosh, but I saw Melo play really well in the 09 playoffs on very good efficiency. So I guess I'd say no...no, I don't think Bosh could ever lead his team to the conference finals as the best player.
And there is of course more to Melo than just his numbers. He's able to get his shot whenever he wants it and is very clutch in game winning situations.
But again...I agree with your take on Melo. I just think other players are very flawed as well...and we are talking about a lot of guys that never had the success Melo did as the main guy. Yes, I know melo's record in the playoffs is very poor...but he did lead a team to the WCF.

Re: melo's legacy is on the line tonight
its hard to argue with lebron fanboys coz they have the lowest IQ on this board. They believe that stats means better when we already have seen how cancerous players like oscar robertson, rose, iverson, arenas and 32 8 8 jordan are. But no, they believe lebron is going to be better than jordan despite him only winning his first ring. LMAO

Guy just anchored the #3 offense in entire league with a bunch of role-players...and he actually had very good efficiency during the reg season.
Gets too much hate.

He's been the lead player on a playoff team every year in his career. Not a complimentary player. He's put up huge numbers every year. He won a title in college too. Someone like Bosh, he hasn't done what Melo has. He's just tied his wagon to Lebron's success. Lebron could have won that title with 25 other players in Bosh's role.

Isn't LeBron losing the series against the 5th seed Bulls team with half of the roster down because of injuries ?

What eggs? He doesn't play on a super team, and his early years were spent going against prime Kobe and prime Duncan.

what eggs?
in the seven games before he played like shit.
a terrible, ballstopping, iso-heavy 37% shooting of forced shit.
melo had 8 passes in game one. PASSES, not assists.
game 5 against boston was an absolute desaster, a joke of an offense.
last year's series against the heat was terrible basketball.
this has nothing to do with teammates, nothing with the opponent, only with his mindset. if you cant realize this, you're a blind stan.
