Tmac's jumper was the only thing that made him guardable. His shot selection was awful.

With his ballhandling, quickness, and passing, he could have been a way better Pippen than even Pippen was. Instead, all he ever really managed to be was a taller Kobe without the winning.

A taller Kobe? How so, if the only thing Tmac was better at was his facilitating (and that's a minimal advantage at best, considering Kobe played within the triangle). Scoring-wise, his best season (03) was worse than Kobe's 2 best seasons (06 and 07 when he got healthy) and otherwise he only really has one other season (04) where he was close to scoring as well as 01-10 Kobe.

Don't even get me started on defense or intangibles. If people thought Kobe in 2010 was massively overrated defensively (only great stretch being the 10 playoffs) I'm guessing they don't even want to hear the tales of post 05 Tmac...

You read my mind. His shot selection was his biggest weakness.

How many all defensive teams did post 05 T-Mac make? How many all defensive teams has Kobe made in recent years?

No one ever said Houston T-Mac was a great defender. Why are you even bringing it up? lol
