Default Jose Calderon to explore free agency

Wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit try to keep him, with New York, Atlanta, Orlando looking to make a push for him.

The Raptors are a stupid enough organization to do this.

Dallas has been interested in him for a while now.

with how shitty their PG play has been this year I wouldn't be shocked if they snag him.

Calderon would fit well in Dallas...would probably help Mayo's game, as well.

But they need a defensive center.

well aside from Dwight being a FA this summer who else is there?

I guess there is always Bynum but is he really worth the risk?

Bynum is not going to cover for Dirk, which is important. I think Bogut, if they think he's worth the risk (and if he opts out and leaves) or maybe take a chance on a guy like Oden...tho that seems ridiculous. Makes more sense in Cleveland than in a place like Dallas. If Dwight went to Houston then I could see them trading for Asik...tho what they would trade...I don't know what they'd have to trade.

How were they interested but didn't get him this year? I really thought he would have made them a playoff team this season. I have to think the grizz would have taken Marion in place of prince

Calderon should go to the Knicks

Calderon is actually not a bad choice for the Knicks, with Shumpert playing next to him. I know he's better than Felton, but we'd have to demote Felton? He won't like the bench role. He'd have to get traded again. I don't know. Whatever, we don't have capspace...what is he gonna do, take the MLE? I don't know that we even have it to give.

He seems like a decent player. Underrated in my books.

Of course he would. Why stay in a losing team in a bad city?

He knows how to pass the ball and shoot 3pts. If you need a defensive pg than he's not right man

They will have cap space. Lots you can do with that. TPE and picks could have Morey all excited.

I liked the thought of Jose in Utah but now I think they need to keep the ball in Burks' and Hayward's hands

Morey isn't trading Asik unless he's signing Howard.

Just don't play Burks as a PG. He's a scorer.
