So much better than Kobe. Not even close.

Was that sufficient?
LeBron is laying it up from the 3 point line so it's skewing his average.

partial out all the fastbreak dunks and layups then tell me what his fg% is.
So with your logic, lets take away three pointers from Kevin Durants PPG and see how many points he scores per game because he shoots so many
Y'all LeBron haters crack me up.
And there's a minimum attempt number on the stat so that random role players that only played 20 minutes a game and made 3 out of 4 shots don't get accounted for. Come on people.

By comparison, Lebron in February has a 28.2 GameScore average. And this is if we just look at months exclusively rather than any 30-day span, in which case Jordan had month-long stretches like these:
32.7 pts/9.9 reb/10.7 ast/2.5 stl/.8 blk/51% FG/30.5 GameScore
38.1 pts/7.7 reb/5.8 ast/3.6 stl/1.0 blk/56% FG/33.7 GameScore
PLAYOFFS - 38.4 pts/7.4 reb/6.8 ast/3.2 stl/.9 blk/52% FG/30.6 GameScore
PLAYOFFS, 3 Weeks - 37.5 pts/7.8 reb/8.3 ast/2.7 stl/53% FG/31.4 GameScore
I'm sure guys like KAJ, Shaq, Bird, Magic, and Wilt have had similar/better months than Lebron too.
at comparing FG % straight up. Lebron is doing this while taking 3.4 three's a game (at 43% in February). Jordan's highest FG % seasons all came when he took 0.6-1.2 three's a game (at 18%, 28%, and 31%). Moreover, Lebron is not jacking 25+ shots along with 10-11 FTA a game to achieve these results. Lebron's efficiency is off the charts and comes within the team context. If he were limited to only taking 2 pointers he would likely be around 67-69%. No perimeter player has ever approached this level of efficiency.
We are all witnesses.

Faster pace era. More possessions = more pts, rebs, asts. Reason why MJ was able to take more shots than LeBron/KD and still avg 8asts/8rebs

you forgot Carlos Boozer and Big Z was an all star in 05, along with Hughes still being a very productive player.
Not an all star supporting cast by any means, but people always love to leave out that Big Z was a 2x all star & Carlos Boozer made a name for himself in a Cavs uniform
This is a great accomplishment but surely 64% is a very selective stat.
Why not 65? why not 63?
EDIT: Barkley's stats a few pages ago are a good example

Carlos Boozer was a sophomore and LeBron was a rookie. I said 4 years for a reason - I wasn't including his rookie year in assessing his statistical potential. Larry Hughes was absolute crap when he got to the Cavs and was never "productive" with them at all. And yeah I know Z was an all star in 2005 (and 2003) - but after that it was downhill and it's not like you needed to be a great player to make it as a center on the Eastern All star team. Can anyone even name the second best big in the East in 2005 after Shaq?
I was never trying to make any point other than what you already conceded, he never played with an All Star level supporting cast. Yeah Boozer was there (in LeBon's rookie year, so that means next to nothing) and yeah Z had one all star year.
And yeah 64% is selective, but it's selected based on the fact that it's his shooting percentage. If someone was to score at least 67, they would say "the last person to score 67 was in 200X). You can be selective when you're talking about just one stat. It's not like they said "last person to average 29, 7, 7, and 64% and 43% 3s, etc. etc. They just said last person to shoot this high. There's no issue of being too selective there.

So basically although it is technically true, it is just another made up stat, and Shaq had several far more impressive months in this regard.
He even came to within 0.001% two times

The thing is, Shaq was a center that lived in the paint. The fact that LeGawd can do it and he's a wing player and taking three's is just holier than thou.
All hail the King!
