They didn't crown FMVP's then. And going by some of these clowns' logic, if you're not the Finals MVP then you don't warrant any credit towards that ring. It's stupid really.

Like other plays with bad shot selection, he just doesn't know, in the moment and on the court with no time to think, which shots are good and which are bad.

So he can't just get rid of the bad shots, because he wouldn't be able to just select them alone out of the pile.

So if he started shooting less he'd end up getting rid of some of the good shots too. And that wouldn't help, it'd mostly just drop his absolute production.
