Default Should a contendar try for Drew Gooden?

The Milwaukee Bucks continue to offer Drew Gooden in trade talks with teams around the NBA, according to sources.

Gooden is owed $6.68 million for this season and the two following seasons.

Gooden hasn't played yet this season, but has had a positive attitude throughout and has also been mentoring the younger players, especially Larry Sanders.

“I’m not a selfish person and I’m not a selfish teammate,” Gooden said. “I’ll do whatever I can to help the team. Right now, I’m trying to help the team vocally in any way I can.”

Should someone like a OKC. LAL or any other contenders have a look at getting this guy who has been solid his whole career and last season was quiet good?

Not quiet sure maybe one of the Bucks fans can answer that but I think he would fit in great in OKC as the starting undersized centre image how spread the floor would be for Russel to drive surrounded by Kevin, Thabo, Ibaka and Gooden

The Hawks need a big badly, but I doubt we want to take on that contract.
Maybe Charlotte sends out Tyrus Thomas for Drew Gooden - similar contracts.

Lakers. Who cares if they have Howard, Kobe, Gasol and Nash? Bench players win championships and Drew Gooden would turn them from a top 10 team in the league to easily the best in the league.

Still can't believe no one has picked up Drew Gooden, can OKC seriously not use him? Hell even Miami would be a epic place for him I'm fairly certain had the Bucks not gone with the youth movement last season he could have been getting plenty of mins.

Is there not a contender that could have used him (e.g Clippers), also Houston pairing him next to Dwight since he's a decent spot up shooter/passer.

I'm just as to why he is not on a NBA team getting some playing time

The Spurs had him for a rental IN HIS PRIME four years ago and he didn't stick....

If the Spurs couldn't turn him to a decent player then I don't think anyone could.

OKC should sign both Drew Gooden and Rip Hamilton to improve their rotation.
