Sunni and Shiite aren't even the same, very different beliefs. Sunni's follow Muhammeds (pbuh) way while Shiite's follow Ali (pbuh).

Naw, most of them started off as 5 per centers but later converted to traditional Islam.

The funny thing is many Catholics (at least from the Mexican community) don't really consider themselves 'Christian' either. They consider it an entirely different religion for some reason.
