Paul pierce would be top 5. Michael Jordan knows what I'm talking about.

Steve Nash shouldn't be in anyone's top 10. Go look at what his stats and accomplishments through his age 25 season. He wasn't a full-time starter, yet, and had career averages of 21.7 MPG, 7.2 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 3.8 apg, 0.7 spg.

Considering what they produced and achieved those specific years at 25 I will once again let the facts do the talking & ranking:

    1. Lebron (30/7/9 - 50% fg, got MVP that year, was DPOY runner up and was the best player and just set the record for highest assist average by a non PG in NBA history)
    2. Duncan (26/13/4 - 51% fg, got MVP that year, was top 2)
    3. Dwight (23/14/1 - 59% fg, got DPOY, was top 3)
    4. Wade (27/5/8 - 48% fg, got nothing, was top 3)
    5. Garnett (21/12/5 - 47% fg, got nothing, was top 3)
    6. Carmelo (28/7/3 - 46% fg, got nothing, was top 5)
    7. T-Mac (26/6/6 - 43% fg, got nothing, was top 5)
    8. Kobe (24/5/5 - 44% fg, got nothing, was top 5)
    9. CP3 (16/4/10 - 46% fg, got nothing, was top 5)
    10. Dirk (22/9/3 - 46% fg, got nothing, was top 10)

    There you go.

how can you select Durant when he hasn't even played at age 25 yet?... if that's allowed, BG should be in the discussion

Good point, forgot about him, not sure if i should just throw out Durant or include Griffin aswell ... 21/11/3 - 55% fg is enough i think to take out Dirk at 10...

EDIT: I added instead Chris Paul, its better to wait for Durant/Griffin to turn 25 first... :)

    Allen Iverson number 1?

    31.1, 4.6 (assists) and 3.8. For a 6'0'' thats preposterous.

31-4-5 @ 42 % FG, got the MVP that year, was top 2-3 best player. That would earn him a place behind Lebron & Duncan on my list (maybe even battling Duncan for that #2 spot).

But... he is not currently an NBA player.

No, he shouldn't. Griffin has had two good seasons with hardly any impact outside of being the second best player on a second round playoff team. Durant has had three very good seasons, three All-NBA first teams, an NBA Finals appearance and WCF appearance as his team's best player.

And I'm shocked...pauk has LeBron at #1. I'm still taking 25 year old Duncan over 25 year old LeBron.

    Through their age 25 seasons:

    Duncan (5 Seasons): One championship as the lead-dog, 1x MVP, 1x FMVP 5x All-NBA 1st team, 4x All-Defense 1st team, 1x All-Defense 2nd team

    LeBron (7 Seasons): One Finals appearance as lead-dog, 2x MVP, 4x All-NBA 1st team, 2x All-NBA 2nd team, 2x All-Defense 1st team

Anybody with Kobe at the top of their list is only revealing themselves as a dickriding stan. Kobe's numbers at that age are trash compared to guys like Lebron and TD. Factor in efficiency and Kobe isn't even in the conversation.

Now you are using a different criteria, with those accomplishments you could go with Duncan at #1. But AT 25 Lebron was a better/more dominant overall player, better & more dominant than any player today that was 25.... At 25 we are talking about a 30 point triple double machine here that already established himself in discussions to being the most versatile player in NBA history, he was able to start/play and dominate up to 4 positions offensively & defensively that specific year, that season he started for example PG 15 games in a row in absence of an injured Mo Williams and averaged 30-8-12 (12 assists).. just before that season he put up arguably the greatest playoff productions in NBA history, where as PER would say it was by far #1 most productive with a huge gap...

Duncan was great, amazing, efficient, but was not exactly a better individual talent than this behemoth at 25.

How is that different criteria? That's what each had accomplished through their age 25 seasons. And what exactly makes 25 year old LeBron more dominant than 25 year old Duncan? Just because Duncan wasn't as flashy and mesmerizing with his play doesn't mean he was less dominant; not to mention Duncan, through the age of 25, was a much more impactful and dominant defensive player.

No, it's not. Not in any way, shape, form, or fashion. By the age of 25 Dirk had five quality seasons and five really good seasons, and four All-NBA selections.

Blake is only 22 and has two good seasons under his belt, but that's enough for him to bump Dirk off the list. At least wait another season or two to see if he replicates what he did his first two seasons, and makes another All-NBA team or two.
