All of that bullshit won't matter once he plays in his first NBA game. That's the past homie.

Pretty much this. I know Davis is younger, but how do you view Christian Laettner? He was a two time national champion in college, NPOY, and won a gold medal before ever playing in the NBA. He wasn't the #1 overall pick, but he was taken 3rd and, for the most part, had a pretty forgettable NBA career. So, 15-20 years down the line, if Davis doesn't ever become more than a 12-15 ppg, 10-12 rpg, 2 bpg player at his peak, then I could see his NBA career overshadowing what he accomplished in college and winning a gold medal before his rookie season.

I do think he will be a much better NBA player than Laettner and perennial all-star, though, so it shouldn't be much of an issue.

He has pretty broad shoulders, he should be able to put on a good amount of weight. That will allow him to actually bang around inside and play in the low post more offensively.

Sky really is the limit for him, if he pans out he should inherit the 'best big in the league' title from Dwight in 2-3 years and then carry that banner for a solid 10 years.

So are you saying that MJ's 6 rings don't matter cause that was the past? Just cause its in the past doesn't make it any less impressive. AD will be a great NBA player anyway

Kentucky doesn't have a gym? Surely Kentucky has weights and free supplements for its elite athletes.

I did notice he had bulked up, I think he will continue to do so.

    Anthony Davis already has haters.
Didn't you see the people saying thy would rather have Drummond Or Robinson before Davis before the draft saying that Davis is too weak to play in the NBA.
