The Linsanity Hype is pretty much dead by time the 2011 All-Star Weekend started. It was one of those rare moments where every news, sports and entertainment outlets ate up on the story because everybody was buying into it.

It came in the perfect time too, early to middle of February. Day after the Super Bowl. No more football, baseball hasn't started spring training yet. March Madness hasn't started yet.

If you openly cheer for a player to fail you're probably not a basketball fan. Most likely you're whole interest in the game is wrapped up in man love for one player.

Cheer against a team that's a rival but to hope an individual fails just because you're tired of a moment is just moronic fan boy talk.
