Jordan had a subpar performance with HOF teammates in the 92 Olympics. Nobody's disputing that YMF. And who exactly was calling him "Unstoppable" during the Olympics anyway. Even back then, everyone was saying Barkley stole the show.

"Are we really going to pretend that Dream Team Jordan was unstoppable"

The ENTIRE point of being called the DREAM TEAM is because they were just that.....a DREAM TEAM
The best team in the history of basketball, and maybe sports all together. Its not cause Jordan was on the team, it was cause it was Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc.....ON THE SAME FUKKIN TEAM.

Nobody I know goes around talking about what jordan did alone. And this thread proves you didn't even watch during that time, or didn't even attempt to watch the dream team special. They said clear as day that Barkley was the one getting most of the attention, on and off the court.

Or does this only apply to Jordan?
Im just talking about the Olympic here.. A lot of poster here talk about how 92 Dream team will win easily against 2012 coz they have Jordan which is wrong..

And no.. Kobe wasnt outplayed, he was literally the best player in the tournament.. The kind of defense receive by Kobe in the tournament was atrocious compared to his other teammates.. He was the focused of other team defense..

To compared that to Jordan.. Mike didnt get that kind of defense during 92 Olympic(no defense play at all) so theres no reason for him to be the most inefficient player in his team..

I'm pretty sure everyone has been saying it's because the front court as the reason, not solely Jordan.

I get what's going on Cali. YMF and KB fans are mad because peeps were saying Jordan would shut Kobe down if their Olympic Teams ever faced off. YMF is contending that Kobe would outperform MJ based on MJ's subpar numbers against inferior competition.

MJ treated that trip to Barcelona like a vacation, and a chance to get to know his teammates more personally. The games were an afterthought, because he knew how strong his team was.

You honestly believe that if MJ knew he'd be facing counterparts from the future, who were inspired by his game, that he wouldn't "Up the Ante" and focus more on the game, as opposed to just playing golf and cards all day?

1992 Michael Jordan was absolutely unstoppable. Did he play exceptionally well in the Olympics? No but that's a few games against crappy competition where he clearly wasn't giving 100% because he, nor anyone else on the Dream Team needed to for them to win by 50 points. If you think 8 games in the Olympics means he wasn't unstoppable in 1992 than you should really re-think even bothering to watch basketball, it's clearly not your sport.

No.. MJ was not the only one treated that trip to Barcelona like a vacation.. All his other teammates treated the same.. So theres no reason for him to play poorly..

This is what wrong with Jordan stans here.. Too many excuses when he played poorly.. Do you think other members of 92 Dream team take their competition seriously? They're just having fun out there.. So why it is only Jordan that played below his standard?

Anyone watched that tournament knows Jordan played like shit. Party or whatever he didn't really fit into the rhythm.
And how underrated was Mullin? A couple days ago saw a thread talking about great left-handed players and few mentioned his name
