I don't see how you'd think Lebron could check Magic effectively. Magic is the best post player out of the 6 and could beat you numerous ways. No way Lebron can single handedly stop the sweeping hook and if the double comes you have the greatest passer who ever lived passing out the post to Jordan or Bird? Forget about it

No, but he's not stupid enough to choke up on a guy who's faster than him. He'll obviously allow space to shoot and as most wing players love to do is take open 3's.

Ok, so what if Jordan defends LeBron and Magic defends Kobe? If Thabo Sefolosha can hold his ground in the post, and impede LeBron's progress to the basket on drives, then so to can prime Michael Jordan but with more consistency.

Then, with Magic on Kobe, he can at least use his size advantage to make up for the discrepancy in lateral quickness. I'm not saying Magic would shut down or even slow down Kobe, but going with Jordan on LeBron and Magic on Kobe might better suit the Legends team.
