Wade was the better player quite easily. Drexler might have the better career between the two though.

Wade as a rookie is better than any version of Drex.

'09 Wade shits on any version of Drexler.

Wade, and it's not a tough question. His superior ability off the dribble made him a better scorer, particularly in '06 and '09 when he had a good mid-range game. One thing Drexler has over him is that Wade hasn't really had a jump shot over those 2 years. Clyde was also a much better rebounder. But while Drexler was a better passer, imo, Wade's vastly superior ball handling evens it out as playmakers. How many have been able to split traps as well as Wade? Drexler had better size and probably a more effective post game until maybe this year, but Wade didn't appear to be in his prime anymore. Wade at his best has also been the better defender.

This, Wade was incredible in '09. Coming back healthy with the best mid-range shot of his career, and a decent enough 3 point shot to be a threat(shot them extremely well in the 2nd half) in addition to playing the best defense of his career and being more under control with much less turnovers than before the injury took his game to the next level. Too bad he hasn't come particularly close to matching it since.

Drexler is very overrated. Wade is better by a lot.

Depends which wade. the one that works harder than everyone on the court and puts the team on his back or the one that cries about every call.

Overall I would take Drexler. No way Wade could get take Porter and Cliff to the finals twice.

Someone needs to look at how stacked those Blazers teams were before making dumb comments.

09 Wade against MJ in the Finals would have been legendary and he certainly would have not been sonned in a legendary fashion.

I'm gonna use the classic Kobe stan argument here.

    2 rings > 1 ring

    Wade > Drexler

Drexler took his teams to the finals where the second best player was KEvin Duckworth (rip.)

Wade has never led his team to the Finals.
