None of this is howards fault. None. He has asked to be traded to the nets for half a year now and it still hasn't happened. Stop holding him hostage. The longer rob keeps him the more drama occurs. I don't get people who think the Magic should trade Howard immediately to Brooklyn to "avoid embarrasment". Should Howard shut up and just sign with whoever acquires him to "avoid embarrasment?"

This has all been handled poorly but Orlando trading him now for 10 cents on the dollar to avoid being embarrased makes no sense. How much worse can they look? How much worse can he look?

And memo to Dwight, you told the Nets you only wanted them, and ten seconds before you were going to be forced to be traded there you changed your mind. Trying to re-establish leverage now in the same way isn't going to have the same impact.
