To me, right now, it's a debate between Wilt, Bird, Kobe and Duncan in those 5-8 spots. If Duncan is able to make a big run here and win a title (in this year no less) it does give him a big plus in his column.

I can agree with this. A championship and Finals MVP will automatically put Duncan in the Top 5 All-Time GOATs; bumping both Bird and Wilt. A title, he would most likely bump Bird at #6.

And Duncan is the 2nd best player on the Spurs this season so I don't know how he can just be considered a "role player" by some people here.
