You guys only have 2-3 years to realistically compete for a title. Amare and Tyson are getting older and they are your backbone. Melo and Lin aren't winning shit. You trade for Kobe and he gives you that 2-3 years of great basketball.. the Knicks would be locks to make the ECF this year and next and they would have a great shot at beating the Heat one year. Kobe has been 10x better than Melo this year.
