Outside of Yao, T-Mac, and Shane, no one really contributed. Main reason why they lost.

T-Mac did play well in this game, but he could've had a better series, even though he was past his prime, Derek Fisher was guarding him with some success at times. Yao could've had a better series as well. Disappointing, they should've won this series and had an easy path to the WCF.

Wasn't this the game where T-Mac cried in the press conference afterwards?

i still remember the turnover by skip to my lu that turned the tide and completely shifted the momentum to the jazz and the last few minutes.

i feel the main reason the rockets lost was yao inability to matchup with the jazz frontline. too slow for boozer, and okur played the 3 pt line, plus on offense yao struggled against okur though i cant see why.

the jazz were just a bad matchup for the rockets. shame the bad luck t-mac has had

Okur is underrated low post defender. He did good job on guys like Shaq or Duncan time to time.

He played well till the last 6 minutes. For instance the Rockets were up 88-83 and then Tmac continued to take jumpers when the Jazz were in the penalty.

Well, T-Mac was pretty much a jump shooter by that point, at least as far as scoring goes. Prime 2001-2005 T-Mac was much quicker and more explosive. He had lost a lot of that, and some of his shooting touch as well. His shot got flatter and as a result, more inconsistent due to injuries.

Even though T-Mac kinda folded down the stretch, he scored or assisted on 25 of Houston's 34 buckets.

if i remember correctly tmac didnt even take many shots down the stretch because yao ming was finally scoring down low so the rockets were trying to ride him home.

When you watch the game Steve Kerr mentions how Tmac is just settling for jump shots. But yes down the stretch Yao got a 3 point play and another score.

Those offensive rebounds by the Jazz down the stretch really killed the Rockets. So sad to never see T-Mac make it into the 2nd round.
