It's really not. It doesn't help that Kobe is still playing at a high level and has a good chance of winning another ring.

    Kobe played good in 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2010
yes even in 2010, 8 rebounds per game for a SG, and 15 rebs in gm 7
his teammates didnt carry his ass, for example in 2010 Kobe had 10 4th quarter points in game 7, the most in the game

I don't think he is a top 5 player anymore, but he can work his way back up. He certainly wasn't even top 5 as far as top 5 players in the season last season either. The injuries have been nagging him for a while, but this off-season he got knee surgery which seemed to help him a lot from the basketball footage I saw from him last summer. The longer the lockout lasts the more rest Kobe will have and the more time Kobe will have to prepare for the season.

02 and 09 were amazing performances. 01 and 2010 were good.

Overall, Kobe is a good Finals performer.

Anybody looks bad when compared to Jordan. Kobe is still a good Finals performer, and he is still one of the greatest players of all time. I don't know what the point of this thread is.

He is absolutely atrocious in the Finals.

So Kobe's first 3 rings doesn't count because he played with Shaq?
