It's crazy how their career paths have gone. Both very good examples of unselfish team players.

No one should ever watch Nash on defense he's atrocious. I would like to see Rose learn the game from Jason Kidd though. He's a testament to being able to work on your weaknesses.

But everyone including Rose, should aim towards Nash's 50/40/90 efficiency which is the most efficient, shooting wise of any pg or player throughout a 5 year span. And of course his passing abilty which every pg should watch on tape.

If you want to look at someone who's as far from a chucker as possible just look at Nash.

Everyone should aim towards being a two-way player. High shooting efficiency is cool, but when your SF/SG has to tire himself out guarding YOUR man because you can't it wears on your squad.

GUARDING YOUR POSITION IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN SHOOTING!

To maintain that high efficiency I wonder how many offensive possession he took off. I swear Nash's Suns were the worst run teams ever back then (D'Antoni's fault)...They played almost no D and just ran, ran, ran. Stupid ball imo.

And as far as passing goes, Nash is overrated (but brilliant, no doubt).

Leading the league in assists is cool but when you also lead the league in passes stolen it makes it sort of a toss up.

Homerism is exposed when an opposing argument is summarily dismissed without even one question to decipher what is meant.

I think my favorite player MJ is overrated. I mean, he is the best, but people act like you slapped your mom if they feel Jabbar or Wilt was better and I don't think that's right.

Personally I think that if you drive under the hoop and dribble dents in the floor looking for cutters it is a detriment to your team.

A good point can let go of the ball and get hockey assists or no assists at all and still distribute well.

fck that shit. How about competing on both ends with all you got until you get a championship.

    Kidd > Nash.

He's got a point, nash is leading the turnovers but his assist to TO is pretty good, 12th in the league. I still stay nash is one of the best pass first point guards along with kidd. If I want more defense I'd choose Kidd but if I need points I'd choose nash.

Not saying that nash cant D but just so impressed with kidd's D(especially in playoffs against kobe). It just annoys me that nash's D is being blown out of proportion, he's not that bad.
