Chuck Hayes is far from the strongest though. With him it's more his body style. He's arguably the most immovable player in the NBA. His extremely strong base and lower center of gravity than other bigs because of his 6'6 height give him an edge when it comes to backing down or stopping backing down. Not to mention Hayes is an extremely smart and physical defender. His ability to get position is incredible.

The way Kevin Love rebounds with positioning and intelligence, is the same way Hayes is such a good defender. Chuck Hayes and Dwight Howard are the only players Blake Griffin didn't manhandle in the post this last season which tells me Blake is easily among the top 5 strongest if not top 3.

They were the only players he couldn't back down easily.

I'll just give the strongest at each position.

    Baron Davis/Derrick Rose/Russell Westbrook/John Wall/Derek Fisher
    Eric Gordon/Dwyane Wade/Kobe Byrant/Andre Iguodala/Corey Maggette
    Lebron James/Ron Artest/Carmelo Anthony/Joey Graham/Danny Granger
    Blake Griffin/Zach Randolph
    Dwight Howard/Ben Wallace

These are all in order. Unfortunately the PF and C positions have big gap between the next tier because most bigs now are face up players, midrange shooting bigs and they avoid the post. Griffin and Howard led the league in points in the paint and dunks. Zach Randolph is a very physical post player, prefers high post but nonetheless is very powerful. Even at his age Ben Wallace is incredibly strong and still benches 400 plus even if he's a step slower. So Dwight and Wallace really have zero competition at the 5 spot.

I think Gordon has a case for SG. He was outwrestling Artest last season.

I smell a lot of agendas.

Strongest PLAYER in the NBA has to be Dwight in my opinion.

Dwight is definitely strong, but I don't think he's the strongest. He's just really muscular and more muscular physique doesn't necessarily mean stronger.

Idk how many of you have seen Chuck Hayes in real life but next time you get a chance look at how big his legs and chest are. That man is a beast. He's always been a big body and everyone else in his family is it's just crazy.

If you look earlier in this thread I mentioned him but apparently according to some clipper-stalker he is just great at not allowing any big guy post up on him because he got a strong base and lower center of gravity...

    I won't name names -
But only think of centers and PF's on these teams -

    Majic
    Clips
    Trailblzers
    Suns
    Jazz
    Lakers

Remember I consider this a PF league , but some centers have monster strength.

I have to add two other players that are at the SF spot :
two freaks : lebron and Meta

Chuck Hayes getting some respect! Holy crap! I would never have seen this coming

When it comes to basketball, the biggest show of strength is on the post. Where else do you have a near wrestling match between two player? Certainly not out on the perimeter. IMO, posting up (or defending against) and boxing out are the two biggest indicators of strength (although both can be overcome with enough skill).

And here's Chuck Hayes showing Mr Bynum how to get a offensive rebound and how to defend.

Pound for pound I'd have to go Nate Robinson - if we're talking big, bad and strong, then I'd have to go with either Ben Wallace or Dwight Howard
