It happened to 2 times. And he lost once. The other 3 times it was Shaq as the leader.

So he did 2-1 in a 3 year span, not bad though.

Shaq was on the bench in foul trouble...or benched because his F@tAZZ was liabilty in crunchtime....

Kobe had to yell at him to get back in shape because he was too lazy to work out in the offseason.....no wonder they traded him..just like the other 6 teams

The Lakers were #1 in fg% defense in 2000 when Shaq played his most minutes (while Kobe missed 16 games and 639 fewer minutes than shaq). During that span the Lakers were allowing fewer ppg WITHOUT KOBE. It must have been due to defensive stoppers like 32 yr old Glen Rice and 36 yr old A.C. Green, both starters....LMAO

Lakers = #17 in fg% defense during the 2003 season when kobe played his most minutes as a Laker, meanwhile Shaq missed 15 games and played 835 minutes. The Lakers were also #1 in fg% defense when Shaq played his most minutes as a Laker, and far more than Kobe. Here's the icing on the cake though....wait for it....the LAKERS were #17 IN FG% defense when Kobe played his most minutes, and far more than Shaq

That's a solid list. Although all lists are different. At the best, Kobe is in the Top 10, but in the low bottom half.
