This is going to be a major bust and now Barkley is going to be keyed down as he clearly defers to Shaq.
Shaq will become the center of attention with Barkley, who is much funnier, being in the background.
I could easily see this leading to Barkley leaving TNT

Terrible idea, Shaq has never been funny. People criticize Dwight for trying too hard, but it's exactly what Shaq has done his entire career.

Shaq is an extreme when it comes to speaking to the media. I see him sometimes being way too serious and at times I think he is some guy who needs ritalin.
Just because he's played the game doesn't it will translate well into articulate analysis.
