From the Euroleague website
[QUOTE]An athletic swingman with poise, talent and a knack for winning - especially in the biggest games - Anthony Parker became a superstar by leading Maccabi Tel Aviv to back-to-back Euroleague titles in 2004 and 2005. No team had been able to repeat in more than a generation, and Parker was Maccabi's undisputed leader. He was named Euroleague MVP in the second of those title seasons and the one that followed, becoming the only player so honored in consecutive years. Parker's alley-oop dunks, finesse and good-as-gold mid-range shot turned him into an icon for Maccabi fans, though he was respected for his professionalism as much as he was admired for his talent. Between 2004 and 2006, Parker piled up trophies as double champion, two-time all-Euroleague first-team selecion and Final Four MVP. Parker and Maccabi reached another title game in 2006, just missing on a historic three-peat, but by then their legacy together had been cemented as Parker simply dominated the Euroleague at his peak. He still holds the single-season record for performance index ratings in a season, 2004-05, and had the next-best rating the following one. Parker also hit the second-most free throws in any season all decade and and 2005-06 seasons still rank first and second for the decade.

Too bad you forget certain things, like 15 ppg in the NBA being different from 15 ppg in the Euroleague. 15 ppg in the Euroleague is good enough nowadays to place you among the top scorers. In the NBA? Not even close.
You know very well that Euroleague leaders don't average 30 ppg, more like 20. This does not make Euroleague basketball better, it just makes it differently played, because basically in almost every league globally we see the same pattern. You are Greek and you know Greek basketball isn't what it once was, yet, Marshall, the leading scorer, averaged only 17 ppg. Even in weak leagues, like the British one, you don't see leading scorers getting 30 ppg. Does it make the NBA "easier"?
Nobody in his right mind would reject that Parker was a dominant Euroleague player and nobody would seriously call him a dominant NBA player.
Ignore list. Knowing Euroleague and claiming Parker dominated there is permanent ignore list worthy.
Petrovic, Schmidt, Galis, Bodiroga............maybe they "dominated" in European basketball. Anthony Parker? GTFO This is simply ridiculous talk to the point of being truly ludicrous and YOU KNOW IT, that is IF you actually do know anything about European basketball.

See, scoring in the euroleague is lower than the NBA. It's rare that a player scores as much as a high scorer in the NBA. Thus 14ppg in the euroleague is a much greater feat than 14ppg in the NBA. You seem to forget facts often.
You're welcome for me dropping the knowledge.
LOL at Yao Ming being the greatest player ever btw.

Sigalas was the MVP there for many years, including the year he shut down Dominque Wilkins in the Finals and led his team to beating Dominique's team. I remember extremely well, being that Dominique played on my favorite team.
Again, strangely, Wikipedia (the bastion of European basketball knowledge) somehow failed to mention that.

Please just admit that the NBA is the better league. Get over it.
And basketball is played in the Euroleague and the NBA you can't say that Derick Rose wouldn't be a good player in the Euroleague. He wouldn't have that stats he has in the NBA, but that's just because the Euroleague game isn't so much about one on one basketball.

How many times does this have to be explained? NBA MVP is NOT the same thing as Euroleague MVP. The two awards have almost zero relation.
The general basketball knowledge of NBA fans is so incredibly and pathetically low and anemic - that they simply cannot grasp this. They continue to compare All-Euroleague, Euroleague MVP to awards like All-NBA and NBA MVP.
The criteria and voting is completely different. But all these NBA fans are such "experts" on the Euroleague that they know better. This stuff is just comical.
That is how. Euroleague MVP award is NOT handed out the same was as the NBA MVP is. Otherwise, Parker would have a grand total of ZERO Euroleague MVP awards.
But of course this forum is full of NBA fans that falsely make it seem like the awards are the same.

Won back to back ships and won 2 MVP awards. You don't have to watch a game to know that he dominated.
