So create a time machine and go back to 1995. If you don't like the NBA, don't watch it.

Dont like it, dont watch..
Also, team loyalty? Are you really that retarded???
Ive never understood people that believe this, teams can trade and shaft players however they see fit, but if a player finishes his contract and chooses to sign elsewhere he is unloyal???

there is some truth to that. It is a two way street. David Robinson was seriously looking at finishing his career in NY because the Spurs were trying to sign Chris Weber and had not offered him a contract. George Gervin was traded to the Bulls after years of loyal service to the Spurs organization. As for the "if you don't like it don't watch it snide punk ass comment I have paid my fair share of money into the pot so I have earned my right to ***** to the league directly or anyone else I choose when they go pro wrestling on us. Quit trying to market the shit and play the ****ing game.

-team loyalty means nothing: Don't care. This notion that players owe jack shit to a team is a joke (We all know who you are singling out here). Players get drafted to a team. They have no choice but to go to that team. If they give it their all while they are there, then that is all that matters.
-perimeter players > post players: Always been a SG fan, so I like it. Plus, the bigs just aren't made how they used to be. The amount of talented big men is not what it once was.
-individual talent trumps team basketball: This is not even true. Look at Kobe 05-07 and Wade 08-10. Spectacular individual talent, but nothing without a team.
-everything is a foul: This is highly annoying, so I agree.
-being friends > having rivalries: They play to win. If joining their friends, who are also great, on a team increases these chances, then they would be stupid not to take them. Why should anybody stay on a team that they don't want to be on when they could just as easily go to another team and have fun while having a better chance to win? This idea that superstars need to do it on their own because MJ, Bird, and Magic wouldn't have done it that way is asinine and outdated. It's 2011, not 1985. Which let us not pretend like MJ, Magic, and Bird didn't have stacked ass teams anyways, which they are not penalized for having. However, nowadays, players like Kobe and LBJ get criticized for it. **** outta here with that double standard bullshit. And you know what? You are wrong. There are PLENTY of rivalries- LA vs Boston, Mia (More Wade/LeBron) vs Boston, LA vs SA, and plenty of others.
-toughness and grit don't exist anymore: Kind of true. At least not on the level that it was.
Sports are dynamic. Either accept this and find something you enjoy about it, or don't watch and wait for the next era.
