Who has the lowest arm-to height ratio in the NBA?
I wanted to say shortest arms, but I thought people would just type, 'Boykins.' I'm more interested in players with short arms for their height.
I'm watching the Clippers-TWolves game (I'm a sucker for Darko and Blake Griffin), and I'm thinking to myself, 'Man, Foye must have the shortest arms in the NBA.' Why would anyone draft a player that is too short to play their natural position, doesn't have the athleticism to play their natural position and doesn't make up for these deficiencies with length. Randy Foye has to be one of the WORST picks in the history of the draft. I guess Bayless is the new Foye.
I would quite like to sit in on some of these draft sessions with scouts, coaching staff and management.
Who can you think of with really short arms in the NBA?
Jason Kapano and Jason Smith spring to mind. Both of them look like they couldn't reach into their pockets for change.

NBA rookie of the year

Interesting, I never really thought about it. Someone answer, I would like to know too.

Re: Who has the lowest arm-to height ratio in the NBA?
He's obviously not in the league anymore but Rafael Araujo had some damn short arms and he was listed at 6'11.

More like Matt Boner
Re: Who has the lowest arm-to height ratio in the NBA?
Probably can check draftexpress' database for some recent ones. I know I saw a scouting report on the youngest Plumlee going to dook next year and he had a 6'8" wingspan on a 7 foot frame.

Re: Who has the lowest arm-to height ratio in the NBA?
I think Yao Ming is the only player in NBA maybe even in NBA history to have a wingspan so much smaller than his height

How could you not notice Blake Griffin?

I always thought Moses Malone looked like he had really short arms.

JJ Barea, Kevin Willis, JJ Reddick all have wingspans less than their height.

Remember, Da Vinci calculated that your wingspan should be the same as your height. Of course, that was forever ago and people were shorter back then, and his frame of reference would have only included Europeans, and obviously athletes aren't "average."
no homo tho

Gotta be Yao. He's got absurdly short arms proportional to his height and not just by NBA standards.
