Re: Who are some "One Hit Wonders"?
Dana Barros comes to mind.
After putting up decent numbers during his first five seasons in the league, Barros had a breakout year in 1994-95. The 5'11" point guard averaged 20.6 points and 7.5 assists, earned a trip to the 1995 All-Star Game, and won the Most Improved Player Award.
He went on to play eight more seasons in the league as a backup and only managed to average over double figures twice.
Also, being a Laker fan I remember Troy Hudson.
Playing with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Hudson put on a show in the 2003 Western Conference Finals against the Lakers as he averaged 23.5 points. In addition, he earned the nickname, "Laker Killer."
Hudson played in just 187 games over the next five seasons and is currently out of the NBA.

Bobby Simmons
Derrick Coleman faded quickly, I forgot he was still in the league by the end. However he did put together a few good seasons

No one remembers the "Jordan faked his retirement" promotional thing Nike did? Johnny Kilroy was one of his alter-egos. That card (if it's real) was just part of it, MJ was a major Upper Deck spokesman after all.
Check it out.

i think jerry stackhouse loosely fits the description. he has had some solid years, but 2000-01 he was on 29ppg. around that time he has a couple of low 20ppg seasons and then never reaches above 20 again.

If we are talking about One Hit Wonders, and not "One hit Average players", then Bill Walton and Tmac. Both had incredible peak, which lasted 1-2 seasons only.

RICHARD DUMAS!!!
2nd round pick played on the Suns and out of nowhere he averaged 16 a game his rookie season and shot 53% from the field. 6'7" with serious game.
then he got addicted to cocaine and vanished quickly.
would have have been a multiple time all star for sure for damn sure if it weren't for the drugs
