why is this even a discussion. rose proved he was equally as good as rondo in his rookie season. actually, rose was the best player on the floor in that celtics series.

Rondo is a better point guard than Rose.

But overall I think Rose is slightly better just because of how dynamic he is.

Stop living in the past. Positions aren't as rigid as they used to be. This isn't Hoosiers where the point guard has to take less than 10 shots a game.

Both players play point guard...and Rose is the better player therefore the better point guard. If you like pass first PGs that's on you.
