Anyone that plays basketball seriously knows that after playing hard in a game, it's extremely hard to get up by yourself

Ya maybe after breaking your leg. This stuff happens at all points of the game whether after the first whistle or the final buzzer. Sorry I don't think it's that hard to stand up, it's a team chemistry thing but please don't make it sound as if it is difficult.

It has to do with the person. A lot of the times the help up is against the person's will. Shaq will always pick someone up like "Stop sitting on the ground and bitching at the refs..."
I'm also surprised the way that people lay on the ground and writhe in pain after an injury. Maybe it's something they teach them to do? But every time I've really hurt myself I always got up and tried to walk. Maybe it's pride from not wanting to look like a ho, but I also want to make my own diagnosis on what's wrong.
