No offense to Nash but he was the most valuable player not the best player.

I never said MVP= best player. I just know that the reason these threads are coming up is because Kobe fans are sandy because Lebron won it.

lebron and wade have caught up to kobe, i believe.
what makes it hard to compare is that kobe is trying to integrate all his teammates within the triangle...thus his stats suffer. not dominate the ball like wade and lebron. so i watch for poise at critical moments. also, kobe has lost some explosion.

anyway, mj is right...lebron has a legit shot at goat status...kobe does not.

Pure scorer? WTF? He takes more shots and shoots a lower percentage and he's a better pure scorer? Okay. Kobe is, and always will be one of the best volume scorers that we have seen.

Better closer? These are all subjective notions or points of view. Depends on what you want to get done at the end of a game.
