Sigh. I didn't say that they never did....just simply that the other Lakers are too good for a team to try to stop only one player in Kobe. You can't do it. The Magic knew that if they stopped Lebron the other players would not step up and were not capable of beating them. How can you dispute this?

Look at what Kobe did against the Magic compared to Lebron. Kobe played well, but not nearly at the same level or efficiency that Lebron did. And Kobe had a ton more help so that Magic could not solely focus on him.

Having a one man team is not good for winning and what Lebron was able to do against the Magic last year is even more impressive when you factor all that in.

My favorite Kobe moment was probably that game in 04' against Portland when he hit those ridiculous 3 pointers to force OT, and then win the game (and I think the Pacific Division).
