You think they could beat Kobe and Shaq?
Yes when looking at both teams overall. This is a game of match-ups also. Bulls had more versatile players with players like Pippen, Kukoc, etc. No real specialists besides Kerr (3 pt. shooting) and Randy Brown (defense). Again I believe it would be very close series.

2004 Pistons were most balanced team in NBA History, as well as the greatest defensive team in NBA history.
6 All-Stars (Billups, Hamilton, Prince*, Rasheed, Wallace, Okur)
4 Time DPOY
Mike James, Linsdey Hunter, Elden Campbell, Corlis Williamson off bench!
Larry Brown
Great shooer
Great defenders
Held Kobe/Shaq to 25 points, Lakers as a team to 68 points , not giving up more than 19 poitns in ANY quarter in game 3

'04 Pistons were a very balanced team, but '86 Celtics were more balanced. If I Can think of any weakness for the '04 Pistons it would be their lack of inside scoring, but in every other category they were very good.

I would say '86 Celtics, '87 Lakers, or even '67 76ers are the most balanced, and the '96 or '97 Bulls are the greatest defensively.

Talk about overrated. 80s celtics were a joke,
Ainge -JJ. Reddick
Bird-Dirk (shorter with uglier form, better passer)
Mchale- David Lee/Mark Madsen
3 White players on starting 5 in NBA today? They would get killed today.
They swept MJ out of the playoffs more than once. Two of those three white guys were damn great players by any standards. Deal with it. The only team that truly had an obvious bias for white players even though they weren't that good at that time was the Phoenix Suns. It took them quite a while to get with the times. Remember the Van Arsdales(sp?)? Ugh...

Yes of course. I want to put more emphasis on the older teams. Many people think they could not compete in modern era.

Not even close.
80s' Celtics were complete trash defenisvely.
3 White Players on your starting 5 won't get the job done in today's NBA.

What are you smoking? 80's Celtics were top 5 in every defensive category through out the 80's.

Go watch some games, it was standstill defense, no bent knees- weak, slow skinny unathletic players - complete joke.
LMAO at "Categories in 80s" - thats like saying " Look this is the biggest piece of garbage in the dumpster."
Weak era.
