    MJ selects No.9 for team USA and Kobe goes one up and picks 10. Jordan makes the No.23 famous, then Kobe decides he wants to be 24, again one number up from Jordan. Is he insinuating something? I wonder......

    Anyway... From what I know it was that kobe wanted a change from the number 8. Get away from the shaq drama, the rape drama...

    24 was to represent a new kobe era... the era in which kobe was "the man"

    24 being symbolic for kobe to give it his all 24 seconds of the shot clock, 24 minutes a half, for 24 hours a day...

    Idk... i heard something like that....


    and that whole adidas owned 8 had something to do with it...

    He chose 10 , cause it's the number of his soccer idols like Pele, Maradona, Zico and Ronaldinho.
