They call him the big fundamental exactly because there are few fundamental players from the the post 1980s drafts, very few . He is a Great Player, no doubt but he can only do 1 or 2 things better than Barkley...while Barkley can do what? 10-15 things better. Barkley is Better I watched both play

Lets remember they call him SIR Charles because everyone had to say "Yes Sir" when facing him. Everyone was scared and could ot stop him when healthy

Barkley Scores (58-55 2-Point FG% is just way above Duncan`s level), Rebounds, Passes, Shoots and Plays Floor Defense...Better than Duncan. All Duncan does Better is as a Shot Blocker because he is a Center that has been playing PF at 6`11. Hakeem could do the same and much better but that does not make him a PF. Barkley could then be considered a Better SF than Bird, he had more impact (Top 9 PER and Top 7 PER) because he could play SF but that don`t make him that.

Duncan has been playing Center always since Robinson left. Just look at the Forward next to him is that a Center? Year Right!

Then again Barkley outplayed him in his meetings at ages 34-36 crippled with back and knee problems while Duncan was already an All Star a 20-10-3-3 player in perfect healthy conditions and physical prime
