OJ Mayo is damn good, and no one knows his ceiling. Take him for what he is, which is a very good second year player and let the future unfold before getting ahead of yourself.

He's no where near the best player in the league. He has the skillset to become a top player, but he's not a top player, yet.

This. Anybody that says Mayo will be anything less than an All Star is crazy. This guy has mad game, some may not like how he is proclaimed the " Next Kobe" without accomplishing anything. The problem is that he is so skilled that he can occasionally get the better of the top seasoned veterans. Then his fans, i'm talking to you lilojmayo and OJMamba and all other fanboys, go crazy thinking he can do it again them on a night in and night out bases. Will he eventually be able to most likely, but now no way.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mayo scores what 30 points on Wade this season like he did his rookie season. The thing is for every game Mayo outplays a Wade, Kobe,Carter, Roy like player they have 5 or 6 games like what Wade did tonight. Which is reasonable it just shows that Mayo has a lot of potential to be like them in several years, just isnt there now.

ON the sidenote Mayo with 5 steals, not bad at all.

Mayo didn't even guard Wade the majority of the time, when Wade went bockers . DeMarre Carroll had the honors of trying to guard Wade. This was a good experience for him since he is 6'8 and long a hustle player so he will be asked to guard the Wade Kobe Bron type of players. Good Job Wade you torched a rookie. Now I bet you can't do that again when the real season starts, Mayo now has beef with Wade. Wade better watch out when they play in the season. Let me check the date of that.

OJ Mayo Vs Dwyane Wade

This is actually one of the more entertaining intriguing individual rivalries in the NBA. You have 2 guys both 6'4. One with a lot of potential to be the best guard in the league in several years. Vs arguably the best SG in the league. There games are very similar except for Wade drives a lot more and Mayo jumpshoots a lot more. Wade made Mayo into a youtube highlight with the killer crossover that made mayo fall on his as$, but Mayo embarressing Wade by putting up 30 points on him as a rookie. Then you put homer posters on ISH Mayo stans vs Wade stans into it, then it blows up. I just looked and they play December 13. I can't wait to see what liloj and oj mamba have to say when that time comes
