Default Warriors - Love deal dead, good for the Warriors?

    https://twitter.com/BaxterHolmes/sta...35022926491649

Hm...bummed out that we won't get that second star scorer to be able to pair with Curry, +/- numbers showed the team relies on Steph way too much on offense...guess depth won't be hurt though

    Curry - ? - Nedavic
    Klay - ?/Crawford
    Iggy - Green - Barnes
    Lee - Speights
    Bogut - Ezeli

Hope we can get Livingston or something.

Pathetic if true. Klay is good but not great. His best case scenario is 3rd best player on championship team. Love can be the 2nd best player on a championship team.

Probably heat back up around the trade deadline. Your window of opportunity isn't completely closed. Although, things could get interesting if he remains with the Wolves for the rest of the year. Lakers have a shot in the dark next offseason if he isn't traded this season.

I love Klay Thompson, but there's a slim chance he'll ever be a top 5 player in the league. Gotta pull the trigger on that deal and try to keep Barnes in the fold. Kevin Love fits the Warriors like a glove.

    Fu*k

Hopefully we're healthy next year, and we see some more improvement from klay, draymond and especially barnes. We're gonna need those guys to step if we wanna make any noise out west

Hey inferno I saw some rumours on the internet that the warriors would do lee and Barnes for Tyson Chandler, seemed weird, have you heard anything about it on the Dubs side of things?

David Lee, as great as he is offensively, is a problem. He might just be the worst defender at his position in the league.

Kevin Love is no defensive ace, but he won't foul out every time someone posts him up.

If you're gooing to keep him, you need better than Mareese Speighs to throw in.

Trade Barnes to get it, because he's being wasted.

Love is getting traded somewhere. There's no way Minny let's him walk for nothing. They can't be THAT stupid.

    ...can they?

Wasnt it being reported that 20 or so teams made calls to MIN inquiring about love.

Most likely, we'll see another team go after him this summer. Hell, it may even be GSW again. However, in my opinion, it would behoove MIN to try and make a move now, especially one that would garner them draft picks.

Skip seems to not be at all interested in draft picks, else he would have taken the deal the Celtics have already offered as they easily have the best draft capital in the League.

He wants a player of Love's caliber he can sell to Wolves fans, and I guess he doesn't think he can sell them on the future. Trouble is, he's not going to get one.

This is a rumor started by Stephen A Smith.

This trade would make no sense for the Warriors doesnt help at all.

The Suns should now just trade all their picks in this upcoming draft for Love.

Meh, not interested tbh. If Bogut gets injured one more time I'd probably consider it though if we got something else with Chandler too.

Why would Golden State ruin a Kevin Love trade over Klay Thompson?
