Lebron would not outplay 3peat finals Shaq

This, and to suggest he would is borderline absurd.

I want to know, why are we having this discussion now that Lebron just came off a beat down to the Spurs who are lead by a 38 year old Duncan? A guy he is supposed to be chasing on GOAT lists

Until then, I can't move him above top 10 all time. Its a slight on the players above him who have won with legit adversity.

To be the best you have to play the best. Not playing In a weak eastern conference with no all time greats and cakewalking against trash teams.
The best player lebron has played all time is old man Duncan. Enough said.
Jordan, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Shaq, who else ya got, unless you really consider Kobe and Duncan to be "90's" players?

Re: ISH opinions: is Lebron already ahead of Kobe all-time wise??
lebron took a big step back this year. and even after last year at best you could only say he was 11th all time
now i dunno i guess hes still around top 15. but have any of these guys really been as much of an embarrassment?
-jordan
-kareem
- russell
- wilt
- magic
- kobe
- duncan
- bird
- shaq
- hakeem
- oscar
- moses
- dr j
i mean at best you can say west/baylor were more of an embarassment. but they had russells celtics raping them
so i give them somewhat of a pass
this 2 for 5 sh*t is hella sad. colluding/ring chasing/tampering TWICE in his prime
EVEN MORE SAD
hes around top 15 i guess. give or take.
kobe however has twice the legendary career and stuck with one team for 20 years. that and hes the closest thing to jordan we've ever seen
lebron would have to absolutely wow us the **** over for the next decade to catch kobe and make us forget his eye sores

is the mvp the best player award?
was iverson better than shaq in 2001?
was nash better than shaq in 2005?
was nash better than kobe in 2006?
was dirk better than kobe in 2007?
was rose better than lebron in 2011?
is kevin durant better than lebron right now?
the leagues MVP is voted uppon by::::::::::::::::
espn, SI, msnbc, sportsnet, nbatv, tnt, abc, local erea cable ( randomly selected representatives )
now.... how is that any different than power rankings by marc stein or some bill simmons article?
the only difference between a website poll and the actual mvp trophy is..................
"theres a piece of plastic/wood and bronze associeted with it
ESPN is NOT in control of all time rankings
what people do ON THE COURT is

lebron got schooled by a 2nd year kawhi leonard, basically taken out by him and 3 old bums and a coach that just outsmarted him
lebron refused to play in the post ( even though that was the major reason he won his last 2 titles )
lebron quit
lebron colluded yet again ( with tampering charges on top )
lebron dipped on his fans and team for the 2nd time in his prime
lebron forced the trade of the cavs 2 future assets to get a 3 ball chucking no defense stat padder that suits his style of play making better
lebron released almost a "decision" type look at me essay that sounded so god damn queer its not even funny.
and ultimately ended up with a losing finals record and not soon after giving up on his promise to bring cleveland a title. also gave up on his promise to deliver 8 titles to miami. then sets the bar at ZERO titles in cleveland now that hes finally realized he sucks at predictions
the dude took a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE step back
are you ****ing blind?

Except he has already put up FOUR seasons better than kobe's best. Let's be real. All lebron needs is longevity and he will end up higher on the all-time list.

Bird crossed over decades, so did magic. What I'm saying is, just about all the greats played each other at some point and that's where you should be measured at. Kobe Duncan played 90s so technically i can include them too.
90s also had guys like KG, dirk, Vince carter, hill , penny, Webber, Iverson, Barkley, Malone etc etc
Just a greater concentration of talent.

Shaq put up :
38/17/2/3 on 61%
33/16/5/3 on 57%
36/12/4/3 on 60%
so far Lebron has put up:
22/7/7/1 on 36%
18/7/7/.5 on 48%
29/10/7/2 on 47%
25/11/7/2 on 45%
28/8/4/2 on 57%
Lebron would have to play quite a bit better than he's ever played before to snag one of those finals MVPs away from Shaq, what makes you so confident he could do it in 2 of the 3 series played?
