Garnett is better than McHale and Pettit. He is up there with Duncan, Malone, Barkley and Dirk.

Why would you bump a 6 year old thread based on article made 8 years ago ?

Obviously, things have changed a lot for Garnett since that time.

    Mods, please lock thread.

Amare, Bosh, and Brand would be lucky to hold Buck's jockstrap for all your bitching about him.

    My list:

    1. Duncan
    2. Malone
    3. KG
    4. Barkley
    5. Dirk

I've been watching footage of Barkley lately, and I gotta say, I'm not impressed. The guy seemed to have no control over himself, or the game, at all. The Russell Westbrook of forwards. Now Westbrook and Chuck are both great players, but when you have a guy like KG who can control a game and who really brings out great things in their teammates over the long haul, I consider that more important than energy and spark.

That said, I can't put Dirk over him. On defense, people will just walk all over him. Guards will go right into him and not think anything of it. Barkley's defensive prowess is shaky to me, but he could at least intimidate you.

Overall, though, it's no coincidence or accident to me that Barkley never won a title. He was a really flawed player.

I opened the thread and I thought it was current up until I got to KG and it said he had played his whole career with the Wolves, lol. But anyway, Id put KG over Pettit, he should be at least top 5 and Id put Barkley at #2. He is the most talented out of the bunch, well maybe thats a tie between him and KG. I have no problem with Duncan at #1.
