What I think the Lakers should do
If Philly offers Simmons for Lebron, take it.
Draft De'andre Hunter at #4 to play alongside Simmons.
Trade Zo to the Suns, but get other teams involved to get 2 picks for Zo
Draft Bol Bol with one of the picks as a high-potential risky pick
Simmons / Hunter / Ingram / Kuz / Bol Bol
You would be surrounding Simmons with shooters (Ingram has a deadly Mid-range game, no 3 point range but still a great target).
Let them play together and grow together while the Lakers front-office gets a complete over-haul from this mess.
We should have been rebuilding from the start with all the high draft picks we had. Getting the #4 pick is a gift, we shouldn't squander it trying to get a player to play alongside an aging Lebron.

Re: What I think the Lakers should do
Why would Philly move a young Simmons who has not even entered his prime? His only flaw is no range. LeBron has around 2 years left of his prime, and he will fall off.. Simmons has around 12 years minimum of his prime, and he will get better. He is already an all-star.

Re: What I think the Lakers should do
In my humble opinion, and at the risk of sounding like an armchair GM, I think they should drop a 100 foot wide ball of supercritical U-235 from a mile high on top of the Staples center. Preferably during Kobe's jersey retirement ceremony.

Hell no. Ben Simmons is a 6'8 Rajon Rondo. I'd rather trade LeBron for Siakim.
