They just added James Young, too. Three top 10 guards from the 2013 class. Their 2013 class is going to be scary when it's all said and done.

Just assumed it was for the usual reasons I guess. My mistake.

I'm pretty sure any D-1 powerhouse has done some shady shit (including us), kinda sucks that we're the only contender getting hit but oh well we've done more with less

Well what else are you expecting when one of the greatest b-ball school gets the legendary recruiter as their head coach?

What Cal has done at UK is convinced stars to play with other stars. Most 17-18 year olds have always been the best player on every team they've ever been on and most were intimidated to play on college teams with other great players for fear of not getting enough touches, exposure, etc... He actually has these players wanting to come to UK where they will play on stacked teams and shown that it won't hurt their draft stock.

A mere week after landing Aaron and Andrew Harrison, twin brothers and the top shooting guard and point guard in the class of 2013, respectively, Calipari added another top-five player to his team -- No. 2-ranked shooting guard James Young. Young is 6-foot-6 and can play at the small forward position as well as in the backcourt, which sounds like an ideal fit alongside the versatile, athletic Harrisons. However the talent fits, it also gives Calipari three of the top five players in the class, a feat rarely seen in any class.

Stars playing with other stars, this unheard of concept is baffling

Kentucky fans have every right to focus on the here and now. After all, the Wildcats are going to be very good in 2012-13. John Calipari has a reloaded team coming off a national championship, with another plausible No. 1 overall draft pick (Nerlens Noel, assuming he's cleared to play by the NCAA) anchoring the center position and a coterie of highly ranked recruits (Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress, NC State transfer Ryan Harrow, sophomore forward Kyle Wiltjer) filling out the lineup. UK will almost certainly begin the season in the top five, and will almost certainly compete for a national championship. In Lexington, there's no time like the present.
