There's a difference between consensus and unanimous, an opinion can definitely be in consensus on here. That being said, Westbrook at #3 isn't one of those opinions. CP3 has a very good case, as do a few other guys. I have Westbrook at #3 especially after the playoffs, but it's far from general agreement.

The overrating of Chris Paul is just plain pathetic to be honest, but because it's simply disrepectful to the plethora of guards that have actually accomplished something in this league other than getting humiliated in the first or second round of the playoffs.
Between 08-10, Williams was better than Paul?

I watched the series, and I would hardly call it a rape.

Head-to-head is how Lebron got title as best player. He dominated Kobe, Durant and Rose.

Usually the top 2 players are consensus. 3-10 is always debatable

Westbrook vs Chris Paul Head to Head

    Regular Season ppg/asst/rebs/stl/turnovers fg/3pfg/ft%
    Chris Paul 11 wins 8 losses 19.3/10.3/4.3/3.0/2.4 .487/.338/.898
    Westbrook 8 wins 11 losses 18.8/6.9/4.4/1.7/3.9 .408/.286/.819

    Post Season
    Chris Paul 2 wins 4 losses 22.5/12.0/3.7/2.5/2.3 .510/.455/.750
    Westbrook 4 wins 2 losses 27.8/8.8/6.0/1.8/4.2 .491/.346/.877

I definitely think that Westbrook surpassed CP3 this postseason, but let's not have revisionist history here.

    Stupid post.

Paul averaged 23/12 in that series and outplayed Westbrook in games 1, 4, and 6. That's not getting "raped".

What has he accomplished individually that Paul hasn't? He hasn't even made an All NBA 1st team or a defensive team yet.

Paul cannot stay in front of Westbrook and needs screens to free himself on offense.

How many people can stay infront of Westbrook? Good thing he is one of the best pick and roll players of all time...

Like I said, I think Westbrook surpassed Paul this year, but lets not rewrite History.
