For a young player coming into his own and losing to a very good Bucks team 1-3 as a rookie and then losing 0-3 twice vs the legendary 80s Celtics? I would say it's to be expected. The Bulls weren't seen as a threat to those teams. Originally Posted by TheCorporation

bird's just legitimately smarter than most all time greats. He was a pretty great president of operations. Indiana arguably jumped to another level without too much roster change with him replacing larry brown.\
Even decent front office success for me gives the most validity to your opinions even more than coaching. All about big picture player evaluation
