Curry's not that bad on defense. The only reason he's targeted is because he's worse than some of the guys surrounding him. But that's because he's surrounded by guys like KD, Iggy and Klay.

Y'all need to chill with these random defensive stats lol.
Curry did his thing vs the Rockets but anybody that watched the series saw that the Rockets were intentionally targeting Curry on defense. The only that helped him is that the Warriors have GOAT level team help defense.
Klay/Iggy are the reasons Harden struggled.

Correct. Just because he is the path of least resistance doesn't mean he is a bad defender, or even below average.

The Rockets is a much better team, offensively and defensively; they have given the Warriors their most gruelling series the past two years. And let's be honest, without Durant, Golden State wouldn't be even sniffing second round over the same period.

Man, did you watch the series?

He was a free play every time. That's why he spent so much time on the bench; he was constantly in foul trouble.

He couldn't guard CP3, or Harden, or Gordon. That's not to say there are a lot of people who can, but for being hailed as a superstar, his defense is ass. You dont see other teams ISOing Harden or Giannis or Lebron or Westbrook.

    Just Curry.

But when hes on the floor, his offense is good enough to make up for it. Well, usually, but not when you're shooting 27% from the 3pt line.

Harden really attacked Curry and gave it to him down the stretch in the 4th..... oh wait..

Do you really think they don't beat the Clippers without KD?

    So why did Houston lose?

The way Curry and Klay played, without Durant's performance they'd be the first 1st seed 1st round upset since the Bulls.

and you don't see Curry and Klay playing much better if there was no KD, you know.. like the last 3 games since KD went down.
