Default Have the refs favored OKC in the playoffs?

I try not to pay much attention to the refs, so I don't really know for sure. However, I've heard people claiming OKC has been favored by the refs/NBA the entire playoffs.

The only thing I've noticed that was really evident is that once Westbrook is aggressive going towards the basket, it's an automatic foul on the defense. Curry has literally not been allowed to guard Westbrook at all.

And one more thing I've noticed is that OKC is allowed to be extremely hands on and aggressive with Curry while he's been off the ball.

Curry can't handle the nasty that Westbrook and OKC bring.

He hasn't been tested with this kind of power yet. Not once in the past two playoffs. Too skinny and weak to bang with the big boys like big daddy Russell.

Draymond kicked Steven GOAT Adams in the kiwis and didn't get suspended, that's already favoring the Warriors.

I wouldnt say theyve favored them.. but westbrook does have that real quick coordination where he can hit you, pull away and lay it in to spam layups and draw fouls.. hes like a mini bron in that regard.

When you lose by more than 20 points, what difference does it make? Either way, they haven't been favored at all.

I thought they got some serious favoritism in OKC, but it didn't determine the outcomes.

I don't think I've ever seen Westbrook go in for a layup without falling down

Slightly, yes. It's balanced out by Green somehow not getting suspended. Even last game he tripped Kanter which should've been a flagrant and resulted in him getting suspended due to his total.

All I'll say is in the second half of Game 1, I watched Westbrook get a lot of second half whistles that he should NOT have gotten. We all know about the travel late, but there were a lot of questionable calls in the midst of when OKC was erasing that halftime deficit that I was like... meh.

I agree with that. Say what you will about how bad Green was anyway in that game, they NEED Green to beat this team the way they're going, and having him on the court is something they should not have had access to in G4.

Asking if the refs favored OKC this playoffs is like asking if bears s--t in the woods or if the Pope is Catholic.

See Games 2 and 5 of the Spurs series.

    This

Last game Klay and Bogut were given a few early BS calls that put 'em on the bench quick. Just a few obvious ones that went OKC's way in game 4:

    1st quarter
1020 travel by Ibaka, no call
    955 phantom foul on Bogut
920 out of bounds on Adams, called out on Bogut
843 Curry fouled twice, no call
    516 Phantom foul on Iggy
327 Adams elbows Ezeli, called foul on Ezeli. Steve Kerr begging refs, but not a single f*** was given

    2nd
1123 phantom fouls on Klay and Speights
1016 Iggy punched, no foul call
957 Phantom foul, fts given to Durant
845 Another phantom foul on Draymond, Durant gifted FTs
755 offensive foul by WB, called foul on Thompson really bad
739 phantom foul on Bogut takes away three away from Curry
707 Draymond tripped right in front of ref, no call (payback for his kick flop in game 3, sure)
658 Phantom foul on Curry, WB gifted FTs
    603 Phantom foul on Bogut
515 Iggy shoved by Durant, no call
10s Curry fouled shooting 3, no call

    3rd
1100 Klay fouled shooting 3 no call
1015 Curry fouled shooting 3 no call
715 Draymond tripped twice, no call (payback for his kick flop in game 3, sure)
640 another flop by Adams, phantom foul given to Bogut
625 DG Offensive elbow by WB, no call
    527 WB given FTs again
135 in 3rd shows Curry fouled 3 times no call

    4th
    1045 Speights fouled no call

refs secured it at that point.

I feel Adam Silver doesn't want Durant to leave OKC so he's probably doing everything to help Thunders succeed. The Spurs-Thunder series proves that. People be like "that's just 1 or 2 errors from refs who cares." Well 1 or 2 errors/miscalled can change everything around especially if it's in favor of an elite team like OKC.
