It's crazy to see how far off his athletic peak he is but how great a player he's remained. That explosion was one of a kind in those years.

I remember he was so explosive towards the end of his 1st Cleveland stint, that people started saying he slowed down a tad when he came to Miami, despite him still being an absolute athletic MONSTER during that time.

I think physically though LeBron still wasn't too far off his prime (obviously to a degree he was) as late as the 2016-2017 season. He was still moving incredibly and he looked virtually unstoppable in those playoffs particularly.

His last two seasons though, I think the physical slippage has definitely become more clear than before.

Yeah he bulked up too much when he went to miami the 1st year, but riley doesn't like body fat from what i recall. He also had an insane motor back then, i think that stamina is what declined 1st before the athletic ability did. It showed in his defense declining after his peak.

People always talk about the athletic players falling off because they rely too much on athleticism.

In reality, it is all the super athletic players that remain extremely efficient and decent players late into their careers, because they are so athletic and can compete even at a later age.

I always wondered how good he could have been had he given football a gander. Such a dynamic athlete...

He has definitely fallen off compared to this, still explosive from time to time but MUCH slower.

What excites me about this video is the fact that LeBron was 26 years old during this season...exactly what age AD is right now

People keep forgetting, as do I, that we have Anthony ****ing Davis on the team JUST ENTERING his prime! With an old, experienced LeBron who still has gas left in the tank...this is going to be good.

How I wish big Cuz was healthy, a damn shame. We need Kuz to step up, this team USA tour might be exactly what he needs to kick start his breakout season.

I see the Bran family starting to miss the days when traveling to the basket actually got Bran some points.
